He is a fully qualified UK Chartered Tax Adviser and US Enrolled Agent with 19 years’ experience in the industry. In 2014, Buzzacott established its office in Hong Kong, and after relocating from the UK in 2017, Allan now leads the Expatriate Tax Services team there.
Allan serves the US and UK tax needs of his clients who range from high-net-worth individuals with inherited wealth, to owners and managers of small businesses. As well as private individuals, he also has significant experience of advising employers in relation to their globally mobile employees.
Allan has also served many non-US citizen clients who have business or investment interests in the US and non-UK resident clients with UK filing requirements arising from their investments in the UK, especially in the property market.
Prior to joining Buzzacott, Allan worked for Deloitte where he undertook assignments in Japan and India. Outside of work Allan enjoys travelling, hiking, playing the piano and playing tennis.
