Our community

Everyone at Buzzacott can take 14 hours each year to volunteer in the community. We encourage our team members to volunteer through internally promoted opportunities and for organisations that are local or hold personal meaning to them.

The Buzzacott Stuart Defries Memorial Fund (BSDMF) sits at the heart of Buzzacott’s CRS programme. The Fund was established in 2003 in posthumous memory of Buzzacott Partner, Stuart Defries, with the aim of supporting small charities that work with children and young people based in and around the City of London. It provides grants and other support to suitable charities, and backs staff-matched giving.

We want to donate where we can make a genuine difference and regularly give to smaller local charities whose aims are in line with our own. Could that be you?

The environment

We take our environmental responsibilities equally seriously, both in the office and with our team members working from home. Sustainability is built into our building and our thinking – from the motion-controlled lighting to our careful treatment of waste materials. Looking to the future, and with the introduction of new energy and carbon reporting protocols, we are considering how we can become even more efficient as we reduce our impact on the environment.

We’re pleased to contribute to local initiatives around Cheapside and continue working towards reducing our environmental impacts.
